The growing girlies.

About 3 weeks ago Emily lost her first tooth! If that wasn't excitement enough, the next day while examining her new pride and joy (the gap from the lost tooth) we discovered the tooth next to it was loose too! The day she lost tooth #1 we stayed up a little later than normal to make the "Tooth Fairy Pillow" to put her tooth in to keep it safe until the tooth fairy came. After cutting and stitching until 10:00 at night, Emily decided that she wasn't ready to give it up just yet and wanted to hang on to it a while. The next day, on finding that another tooth was about ready to go, she decided it would be even better to cash in TWO teeth at once. Today while playing outside she decided to give it a little tug and see if it would come out. Pop! She came running inside to show her 2nd! pearly white to mom and call dad asap to let him in on the fun. Here is a picture from this afternoon showing her growing gap in her mouth.

Elizabeth has started being a bit more daring with her walking adventures this past week. She will even brave an entire room at times and cross it upright! This new found freedom has allowed her to join in with her big sisters for a bit more "big girl" playtime. Today she enjoyed dressup and being a dancing princess as the girls practiced their ballet moves.
