This last month, the girls and I have had a lot of fun staying busy during the day away from home to keep it clean (for the sale). We've had many picnics, visited parks, gone for walks, seen Grama at the JSMB and occasionally made it to Wheeler farm.
After this last visit, they aren't so sure they want to be cowgirls. We made it to the cows just in time to watch them be milked. Emily was just about to step up and take a turn when the tail went up, and . . . splat! It was kind of gross, but at the same time, the looks on the kids faces were priceless!

They also made bread to bring to the ducks. We started with just a few crumbs and 1 bird, but the word got out, and every swan, goose, duck and gull in the place came right up.
I kept thinking about Lisa, and how she would not think this was ANY fun. Emily did get worried a few times when 3 or 4 geese would get a little too close for comfort. No worries though, we kept them at bay, and everyone had a great time.

Wheeler Farm was my favorite place to take the kids! They look like they're enjoying it.
The cow poop! That is so funny (and disgusting) I don't think I want to be a cowgirl anymore either.
