Back to School!

After a fun summer in the sun and across the country, we are back to a daily routine and school. Here is our beautiful 2nd grader. She has been loving school, her teacher and friends and is full of fun stories at the end of every day of schoolwork and recess tales.

Can you tell she is a little excited? She had so much fun shopping for her new backpack (which is Tinkerbell) and getting ready every morning. She loves her friends and is overflowing with energy to use up on her recess breaks and has made progress already in her handwriting.

Lizzy has missed her play buddies ... But they play hard at the end of the day to make up for it and I am enjoying the time I get Lizzy all to myself.

For the first few days they all wanted matching hair do's ... fancy hair do's. It only lasted for a few days, but was so cute while it did.
