We have arrived!!! And here in Las Vegas Nevada, it's hot! After a week of unpacking and Chris working outside full time (until school starts) we took a drive up to Mount Charleston where it was a good 30 degrees cooler for a beautiful hike and picnic and a game of mountain Frisbee. We packed a small lunch in Lizzy's backpack, which she wanted to carry herself for all of us. The funny girl wouldn't take it off (once we ate lunch and it was a bit lighter) even for playtime. The girls enjoyed the freedom of running and Chris and I enjoyed the early bedtime. We are excited to be here and to find all the fun things that Vegas has to offer outside of the city.
