Well, life has been busy, too busy to do much posting on our blog to tell you all about it, so here is a quick update:
Emily is continuing to grow and learn like crazy. She is still working on growing out her hair, "like Rapunzel" and spends lots of time sitting at her desk doing "secret elf" work and singing to herself. She likes to do secret services for her sisters and parents and then wonder with the rest of us, "who could have done it?" Such a sweetheart!
Debbie is as much of a fireball as ever and loves teaching her little sister how she does all of her cool tricks. She has been the ringleader over the summer, keeping us all involved in some kind of game she has come up with. She has enough books memorized now that she can "read" to her sisters, with much voice animation, and regularly gives hugs and kisses if someone is having a bad day.
Elizabeth follows along in perfect innocence with every thing any older sibling does and has become a great copy-cat-er - and she feels very deeply for any of her sisters when they get in trouble, crying on their behalf if they have to go to time out. She is enjoying a nice short haircut for the summer as Debbie decided her hair was hanging in her eyes - luckily Grama was able to trim it up to a cute little bob.
I am working for a genealogy website and have enjoyed the social part of it - but I miss my girls and feel so bad when they ask every morning if they can come with me. I will be happy to be able to stay at home again with them soon... Which will be coming in a bit here when we move to Pennsylvania - Chris is entering the Post-bac program at Lake Erie. This is a specialized program where students who applied to medical school that they were impressed with can be fine tuned to enter their medical school program the following year. So we will be packing up here shortly and heading back east, did I just say that? Yup! We are excited for the new adventure and for all you church history buffs - we will be right on the way! Just about an hour from Kirkland Ohio and on the way to New York.
Congratulations Chris, we are so proud of you! You have worked so hard and it is paying off.
