I think this is about the 5th or 6th time I have made this cake in the past 6 years. Every birthday when we pull out the cake pans, this is the favorite. Occasionally we work in the flower, but each one has now had their very own "Princess Cake". Oh the fun we have with a house full of girly girls. Here's Elizabeth Clara with her Great Grama Ryan who's mother was Clara.
The birthday girl scored lots of jammies (which she was in desperate need of!) and several cute outfits. She has been changing her clothes a couple times a day between the new clothes and always gives credit to her Gramas while dressing, saying, "Grama gave it me my birthday!"
This year mom and dad got to watch the presents be opened and grama and grampa did the honors of helping with the presents.
