Thanks to a lot of encouragement from my sister and sis-in-laws over the past few months, I finally decided to try the couponing craze that seems to get everyone so excited. Wow! It was a rush to go through the line at Target with $80 worth of items in my cart (some are missing from the picture as the kids were too excited and had to go try out them out right away), pay $20 cash and get $15 back in Target gift cards! Which I turned around and went through the line again to get my month's supply of diapers --- Free! Yeah for un-dollar store body wash, razors, shaving creme and deodorant at dollar store (or cheaper) prices. Thanks Melinda, Heather and Mary for your motivation in getting started!

I'm so surprised you haven't been doing this for years already! I started about 6 months ago, and LOVE it! Here are some of my favorite deal finding websites:
hip2save.com - this has all sorts of great online freebies and deals, too. I visit this site at least 5 times a day. Seriously!
thekrazycouponlady.com - a lot of Utahns go go this site
utahshoppingsecrets.com or pinchingyourpennies.com they're the same site) - there's a printable list for each store there that makes it easy to find great prices; let me know if you haven't found this site yet and I'll walk you through the printable shopping lists!
utahdealdiva.com - This is a much smaller scale than the others, but she also posts other Utah things, like free zoo days and other free activities, mostly in the Salt Lake area

Do you have your paper subscription yet? If not, I can hook you up! The Daily Herald is unique in that they offer a Red Plum insert in every Sunday paper- they are the only ones in the state that do that! The rest of us only get the Red Plum once a week. :( The newspaper coupons are the most reliable and pay you back so many times over! I got 6 FREE Lunchables with the coupons I got in the paper yesterday!
Also, Savvy Shopper Deals is a great resource for Utah county- their website is run through the Daily Herald and they have all the stores down there and a printable shopping list through the "Shopping Wizard." Awesome- I'm so glad you started coupons!
