The story is told from the bible, all the different pieces together and as the director put it "It's like the Christmas story your father used to read to you, on steroids." All the music and sound is done professionally and the stake we live in provides the sets, costumes, actors, back up crew and all.

Emily, Debra, Lizzy and I were "Bethlehemites" and were part of the city as Mary and Joseph arrive in Bethlehem and look for a room to stay. Chris helped with the technical side of course and did a great job filming close-up shots.

We performed 3 nights in a row, with 3 performances each night, so we were really immersed in the Christmas story for a few days and the girls were able to feel like they got to be a part of Christ's birth.

We sang with angels, watched the shepherds visit the baby and Lizzy even got to play the part of the baby Jesus as a toddler when the wisemen come to bring their gifts. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this and really start the Christmas Season with Christ as the center of it. It was a great opportunity to share our testimony and love for the Savior. This year had a recort turnout with over 4,000 people coming to watch.

What a great production to be a part of! Your girls will always remember it. Now I get why Lizzy would play baby Jesus! ;)
